Teafreshing: Passion Project

My goal for this project was to create a simplistic, energetic, and contemporary tea brand that all tea lovers can enjoy. I needed to generate a brand name, logo, and packaging for the brand. I wanted to include simplistic illustrations on the packaging in a way that leads the viewers eye around the box.

For this brand, the tea company’s goal is to promote their naturally refreshing tea. I knew the logo needed to be unique and memorable, while corresponding with the packaging design.

The colors I used throughout the brand are bright and cheerful. Each box includes a simplistic color palette consisting of 3 monochromatic shades, as well as some additional elements throughout the packaging.

When it came to choosing the fonts for the brand, I knew I was aiming for something playful, clean, and modern. For the logo, I used the font Quiche Sans. This typeface worked well for the project because of its high contrast, along with its monoline stroke endings, angled stems, and geometric proportions. Additionally, I used the typeface Serenity for the names of each tea, as it appears elegant but playful. Lastly, I used the fonts Rosans Sans and Montserrat. Rosans Sans worked well because it provides a sense of movement, symbolizing water or tea.
